I left the security of a salaried job and founded Co Creation entirely on my own.

What awaited me was far from a glamorous success story. I despaired at my own lack of experience, lay awake at night over problems on the shop floor, and ran around dealing with cash flow and management issues. The road of building a business was one day after another spent on the edge, never knowing whether I would survive. Even so, I never gave up.

My starting point was the casting business, working as a trading company. Later, seeking to add more value, I began inspection and rework at our own factory, and then moved into pattern making, casting, and machining, working hard and getting my hands dirty on the manufacturing floor. As a result, through good fortune, I was able to build a group with long-established factories (Ueda Metal Works Co., Ltd. and Hayahoshi Seiko Co., Ltd.).

This growth is thanks to countless failures and constant hardship, and above all to the employees who have walked this path with me and the suppliers who support us. My deep gratitude to all of them is my never-ending source of energy. I will continue to stay close to the manufacturing floor and contribute to industry, from our region to Japan and the world.

I did not work so hard to earn the Keieishi (certified management consultant) qualification so that I could hand out advice from on high as a consultant. It was because I myself had hit the walls of management and gone through painful struggles that I strongly wished to “help local business owners and startups who are suffering just as I once did.”

I never deal in armchair theories. What I offer is the real, living practice of management, built by climbing up from zero and proven on the shop floor. I know the loneliness and pain of a challenger better than anyone. To help your company break through its walls, I will get my hands dirty right alongside you.
